Lowell Elementary Supply List 2026-2027

Shared Supplies (Please do not label)

• 3 boxes of crayons (preferably Crayola)
• 2 boxes of washable markers- broad line (preferably Crayola classic colors)
• 2 box of washable markers - fine line (preferably Crayola classic colors)
• 1 palette water colors (preferably Prang)
• 12 glue sticks (preferably Elmers)
• 24 regular yellow pencils (please sharpen, preferably Ticonderoga)
• 2 plain plastic, 2-pocket folders 
• 1 wide ruled notebook
• 1 package of pink erasers
• 2 boxes of tissues
• 4 black skinny dry erase markers  (preferably Expo)
• Last name A-L: 1 box of gallon-size zipper bags (preferably with slider)
• Last name M-Z: 1 box of quart-size zipper bags (preferably with slider)
• 1 box sandwich bags
• 1 box snack bags
• Healthy snacks for a class of 20 (teacher will request more snacks throughout the year) - MMSD Healthy Snack List
• 3 bottles of hand sanitizer OR 1 refill bottle
• 1 bottle of Elmers Glue
• 1 container of Clorox Wipes

• Reusable water bottle
• Art smock - old adult t-shirt works best
• Backpack: large-sized to accommodate a big folder easily, but with no wheels as these do not fit in lockers well
• Spare set of clothes - Put in a plastic bag and labeled with your child’s name. Include spare underwear, pants and socks, although a full set of clothes is even better. (Spills and other accidents can happen to anyone!) You may wish to change the clothes in this bag seasonally so they are temperature-appropriate.
• Gym shoes (optional) - in case you are prone to forget sneakers on gym days

Wish List for the art area

Paper, stickers, envelopes, playdough, ribbon, scotch tape, yarn, old greeting cards, pipe cleaners, paper towel and toilet paper tubes, paper plates.

• 2 boxes of 24-count crayons (Crayola preferred)
• 4-6  large boxes of facial tissues
• 2 bottles surface cleaning wipes (Clorox preferred)
• 4 boxes of healthy snacks for a class of 20 (teacher will request more snacks throughout the year)
• 2 boxes of snack-sized Ziploc bags

1st Grade Personal Supplies : label these with your child’s first and last name

• reusable water bottle (It will come home regularly for cleaning.)
• backpack: large-sized without wheels
• spare clothes: underwear, pants, socks, and a shirt (packed in a labeled bag)
• play/gym shoes: brought/worn daily or kept as a spare set in the locker
