Yellow bus service has expanded to increase transportation access for students. One area seeing positive impacts of the increased routes is the number of middle school students accessing after-school programming offered by MSCR by providing students a way to safely get home from their activities.
Progress continues on work related to MMSD’s 2024 facilities referendum projects. High-level concepts have been developed to help begin the discussion on the design process, including how to best place each building within the available space.
Community members are invited to the public opening celebration on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.
“Read Your Heart Out” is an annual celebration of literacy, cultural pride and community engagement that embraces the African concept of Sankofa and the seven principles of Kwanzaa.

Cherokee is so lucky to have such a kind, patient, knowledgeable and caring counselor.
